Located in the popular Totem Lake complex and hidden in the corner, one would not expect delicious korean fried chicken with zero to no lines! I have only ever gotten take out from Bok a Bok and have felt that the chicken stayed crispy and crunchy even after a 20 minute drive back home. We ordered the 10 pc sesame soy garlic wings with the Dirty Tots. The dirty tots are OUTSTANDING. Adding poached eggs, green onions, and cheese to crispy tater tots elevated the whole dish and will be the reason why I will keep coming back for future takeouts!
Small but mighty!! Friendly staff. Great chicken wings! Chicken BLT flavor good but bread was soggy!! Mostly a take out due to small space but on a not rainy day enjoy in the outdoor courtyard! We will be back
We tried their Bowl o Shame & Dirty Tater Tots! The Bowl o Shame has the Dirty Tater Tots inside with macaroni & cheese, kimchi sauce, and fried chicken pieces! Big big fan of this bowl. You get so much food in your order and it is super filling. Would absolutely get it again. They're mostly self-service, but they had friendly employees! They have a dine-in option but it's outdoors, so I would usually go for takeout.
Bok a Bok is a Korean Fried Chicken take-out restaurant in Totem Lake. The small shop only has a front counter, as everything is to-go, however there is plenty of seating outside the shop and in the surrounding courtyard outside. I ordered 10 wings, which came with a choice of 2 sauces. I chose the soy garlic and sweet ginger. The chicken was super crispy and crunchy, as it's double fried to order. Service was fast and friendly, and chicken was fresh and crispy.
I love Bok a Bok so much. The Bok a Bok in White Center was the first place a friend took me to the first time I visited Seattle for an interview and I keep coming back. I'm so glad there's a location in Totem Lake since I live north. Tonight we got thighs and wings to go with l 4-chile hot sauce, spiced honey, and cheese sauce! All locations are for to go only, so it's best to order online and then head over. The chicken is always delicious and juicy on the inside, and crunchy on the outside. What I love about this place is it's not only the best chicken, it's also gluten free. A good portion of the menu is gluten friendly and it's very easy to navigate food allergies using the allergy list on the website. This is the best fried chicken, just get it.
